How to Order

If you are interested in any of the listings on my Ko-fi and have questions then please reach out to me on Discord at scrambledomelets. I tend to respond to messages within 24 hours!Please make any purchases through Ko-fi.
For items that require extra cost calculation (fanfic, short stories, lore), we can talk directly and I will give you an estimated price. That amount will be later paid via Ko-fi tips.

Dos and Don'ts

I don't mind a challenge, so I'm open to try almost anything for my patrons. However, I still have the right to reject a commission.Can Make/Open to Trying:
☆ Topics or fandoms I don't know much about (I love researching!)
☆ NSFW (commissioner must be 18+)
☆ Any genre, but I'm best with fantasy/fiction + romanceCannot Make:
☆ Politically charged works or hate speech
☆ Sexual/suggestive content involving minors (under age 18)
☆ Academic essays
☆ Detailed gore/torture/SA descriptions
☆ Detailed accounts of mental health conditions (ex. BPD, depression, bipolar, DID)

Terms of Service

Payment
For anything purchased on Ko-fi, payments are always 100% upfront.Fanfiction and short story commissions have an upfront cost of 15 USD for 1000 and a rate of 0.01 USD per word over 1000. Before you receive your completed commission, I will ask for the calculated cost amount. For example, a 2,000 word work is 15 USD upfront, I begin work, and it is 10 USD (1000 x 0.01) before I give you the completed commission.
VTuber lore has an upfront cost of 10 USD for 500 words and a rate of 0.02 USD per word over 500. It would follow the same payment method.Payments are only accepted in USD via PayPal or Ko-fi.
Please account for currency conversions and ensure the full amount in USD is paid when using PayPal.Usage
With any of my commissioned works, you MAY NOT:

I work very hard on every commission to ensure your satisfaction. Coupled with me being in my final year of college and sorting graduate school applications, completing your commission might take a little time. I greatly appreciate every ounce of patience you have for me <3I'll let you know if something comes up that would delay me from working on your commission.Expected times (may vary due to workload)
☆ Haiku: ~2 weeks
☆ Haiku w/ custom artwork: ~4 weeks
☆ Other poetry forms: 1 - 2 weeks
☆ Less than 100 words: ~2 weeks
☆ 1,000 - 5,000 words: ~4 weeks

You may provide me with a deadline to work with at no extra cost. But please be respectful and give me sufficient time to work (i.e. no 3 day deadlines).Updates
Once I begin your commission, I'll let you know and send you a Google Doc with commentator privileges. You can view this GDoc at any time to check my progress and leave comments or suggestions. Whenever I make progress on your commission, I'll tell you and refer to the same GDoc.If I have any questions about characters or worldbuilding, I'll also contact you for clarification as I want to make sure everything is to your liking before I make considerable progress. Feel free to reach out to me as well with any suggestions or to just talk about your characters or fandom. I love learning about things others hold dear!Edits
For short story + poetry commissions
Major edits (ex. plot restructure) after significant progress (more than half of the work) has been completed require a fee of 5% of the total commission price.Any small edits like grammar, word choice, or dialogue are free!For haiku or mystery minis
Japanese is my second language, so I sometimes make mistakes! I'll revise any haiku for wording or grammar mistakes free of charge.Mystery minis are left to my creative freedom, so I will not accept any edit requests for them. However, if you're completely unsatisfied, I'll offer you a 50% discount on a normal commission.For copyediting
You can check my progress directly in the Google Docs document! I will leave comments and suggestions. You may reply to my comments while I'm still working, but please do not reject or accept any suggestions until I tell you I've completed reading your work. That way I won't lose track of what I've edited so far.Refunds
I do offer some refunds, but it depends on at what point in the process you ask me.☆ I didn't start the commission yet: 100% refund
